Your garage is getting full. It’s time to get rid of all those unwanted chemicals.

Maybe it’s those cans of spray paint sitting in the corner of your shed. Maybe it’s the pool chemicals left over from last summer. Maybe it’s the fluorescent, multi-colored light bulbs you never used for that house party a few years back.

Whatever it is, if you live in Roswell, the city is giving you a free chance to clean your home, garage, shed or pool house out of unwanted chemicals. On Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon, residents can recycle unwanted chemicals for free.

No other automotive fluids, like oil, are allowed. No latex or oil-based paint will be accepted.

The event is at 1810 Hembree Road at the Public Works Facilities.
