The Duluth Police Department offers free vacation or holiday house checks for all residents. By filling out a Vacation House Check request form, Duluth police officers will check the perimeter of your home twice a day for any sign of a break-in and contact you in the event of a problem. This is a free service.

To participate, complete the form at www.tinyurl.com/DuluthHouseCheck, or stop by the Duluth Public Safety Center, 3276 Buford Highway.

Other Gwinnett cities offering similar house check services include Lawrenceville, Lilburn, Loganviille, and Suwanee.
