Duluth open house will explain Proctor Square redevelopment

Duluth city leaders and The Residential Group will hold an open house to discuss the potential new development at Proctor Square 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in the former Big Lots building behind the intersection of Buford Highway and Duluth Highway/State Route 120.

Duluth’s aging Proctor Square has long been targeted by city leaders for redevelopment as part of the city’s Livable Cities Initiative and Comprehensive Plan. To be known as The Village in Duluth, the proposed 8-acre development will feature residential units over restaurants and retail.
