Monday’s morning drizzle should give way to dry weather for Monday night’s Braves home opener against the Phillies at Turner Field.

Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Karen Minton said it will be a breezy night at the ballpark, with winds gusting to around 20 mph.

Afternoon highs around 70 degrees Monday will be followed by overnight lows in the mid-40s.

Tuesday will be sunny and a little cooler, but rain and much cooler temperatures will move into metro Atlanta later in the week.

The chance of rain is 30 percent Wednesday, 90 percent Thursday and 40 percent Friday, Minton said.

Afternoon highs will be in the mid-60s Tuesday, low 60s Wednesday, mid-50s Thursday and mid-60s Friday, with overnight lows all week in the 40s.
