Authorities say a SUV driver was cited for failure to maintain lane after crashing into a school bus in south Fulton County.
The wreck happened Tuesday just before 7 a.m. at Old National Highway and Flat Shoals Road. Channel 2's Sophia Choi gathered details at the scene.
Fulton County police said the SUV driver was traveling northbound on Old National when he crossed the center lane and struck the school bus traveling in the southbound lane.
Three Westlake High School students were on the bus when the wreck happened. A couple and their child were in the SUV.
Police said two children on the bus, along with the bus and the SUV drivers, were taken to area hospitals, but none of them have life-threatening injuries.
As crews were cleaning up the mess from wreck, another crash happened in the northbound lanes of Old National. Police said no one was hurt in the second wreck.
The first wreck temporarily shut down southbound lanes of Old National.
A crossing guard in the area spoke of the frequency of accidents on the busy road.
