A Douglasville man was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison Monday on sex trafficking charges involving teen girls.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Demario Hillmon, 30, met the underage girls on a social networking website and an adult escort site. Enticing them with promises of money and gifts, Hillmon would advertise their services online, arranging appointments in metro Atlanta and Montgomery, Ala. Prosecutors said he kept most of the money.

Police discovered Hillmon’s operation while tracking a 17-year-old runaway. Through that investigation, police were led to another 17-year-old victim, according to prosecutors.

Hillmon pleaded guilty in the case in April.

His sentence includes 10 years of supervised release following his prison term.
