Douglas Road bridge opens to traffic

Alpharetta's Douglas Road bridge over Caney Creek opened to traffic Friday, allowing through traffic for the first time since June. City officials said the contractor has additional work to perform across from the bridge, so they are asking motorists  to proceed with caution.

Final landscaping and additional aesthetics will be installed in and around the roundabout and bridge in the coming months.
