Early voting has begun in Douglas County for the Democratic primary runoff election for State House District 62.
Candidates are William K. Boddie Jr. and Valerie V. Vie.
Through July 22, registered voters in District 62 may go from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays to Fridays to the following locations:
- Douglas County Courthouse, first floor, Voter Registration Office, 8700 Hospital Drive, Douglasville
- Beulah Baptist Church, 4031 Bankhead Highway, Douglasville
- Chestnut Log Middle School, 2544 Pope Road, Douglasville
- Deer Lick Park, 2105 Mack Road, Douglasville
- Factory Shoals Middle School, 3301 Shoals School Road, Douglasville
- Boundary Waters Park, 5000 Ga. 92/166, Douglasville
Additional voting locations will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 18 to 22 at:
- Dog River Library, 6100 Ga. 5, Douglasville
- Old Douglas County Courthouse, 6754 W. Church St., Douglasville
- Boundary Waters Aquatic Center, 5000 Ga. 92/166, Douglasville
- Deer Lick Park, 2105 Mack Road, Douglasville
On runoff day, July 26, District 62 precincts will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
