Doraville Mayor Donna Pittman and other city officials will host a town hall meeting for Doraville residents at 6:30 p.m. June 22 at the Civic Center, 3725 Park Avenue. Main topics for the meeting will be an update on the Assembly development project and the proposed Tax Allocation District (TAD). The Bleakly Group, a consultant charged with putting together Doraville’s redevelopment plan, will be on hand to discuss the plan’s key findings. A redevelopment plan serves as a feasibility study for a potential TAD and is required by state law. Residents are encouraged to attend and participate.
