The Doraville City Council voted to grant a conditional use permit for a new church.
Iglesia De Cristo Ministerios el Verbo de Dios Inc. will be located at 6087 Buford Highway. The permit will be granted on the condition that the church closes at 10 p.m. instead of 10:30 p.m., as requested in the application.
This condition was in response to nearby residents concerned about noise.
In other action:
- Council approved an ordinance requiring car washes within the city to recycle their water.
- The beginning phase of the city's traffic mitigation and storm water improvements project was approved.
