More than two dozen dogs removed from a home on Franklin Goldmine Road in Forsyth County will be up for adoption beginning Saturday.

The 12 puppies and 14 adults are Chihuahua-Jack Russell terrier mixes. The manager of the Forsyth County Animal Shelter said they’ve been seen by a veterinarian and are doing well.

The dogs have been housed at the shelter since being removed from the home last month. A March 24 court order enabled officials to start preparing the animals for adoption.

Prospective owners can view the dogs 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the shelter, 4065 County Way just off of Ga. 400.
