Madison Electric Products, a distributor of electric supplies and electrical fittings has opened its Southeast Distribution Center at 2605 N. Berkeley Lake Road in Duluth. The 55,000-square-foot facility will house 10 to 12 Gwinnett-based employees.
MEP’s Southeast Distribution Center will serve as a hub, allowing next-day delivery to most of MEPs customers, as well as same day service to the local area and standard 1-2 day delivery for most of the southeastern U.S. This will ensure faster turnaround on orders and improved customer service.
The new distribution center compliments MEP’s existing facilities in Ohio and California. With a radio frequency technology warehouse management system, MEP can instantly track customer inventory and effectively manage operations.
