A developer’s request to rezone 5.2 acres on Glenridge Drive and build 21-single-family homes on a site that now has five lots is the subject of a community meeting Monday evening in Sandy Springs.
The hearing on the rezoning petition by Betancourt Construction LLC of Atlanta is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. at Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church, 471 Mt. Vernon Highway NE.
The property has addresses of 6045, 6065, 6085, 6095 and 6105 Glenridge. The proposed, gated development would have a density of 4.03 lots per acre.
The developer is asking the city to change the zoning of the site and for certain variances, such as reducing the street easement to 44 feet from 50 feet, and reducing the street easement setback to adjacent residential zoning, according to documents filed with the city.
