Delays remain after fatal crash on I-85 in south Fulton

Lanes reopened but delays remained on northbound I-85 early Wednesday following a crash that killed one person at Flat Shoals Road in south Fulton County.

The accident shutdown the north side of the interstate for nearly two hours, but lanes had reopened as of 6:25 a.m., according to WSB 24-hour Traffic Center.

The best alternate to get around and through Union City is northbound Highway 29.

If traveling from Fayette County, use Old National Highway.
