A traffic shift originally scheduled for May 17 for Browns Bridge Road (Ga. 369) at Two Mile Creek in eastern Forsyth County will finally took place Thursday, June 7, the Georgia Department of Transportation announced.

Traffic will move over to newly constructed lanes of the bridge replacement project near Lake Lanier. The shift will allow construction partners of the contractor, E.R. Snell, to continue building the new bridge, GDOT said.

Temporary concrete barriers will be installed, along with an additional “No Outlet” sign at Pleasant Grove Circle. Project plans call for a new, two-lane bridge with 12-foot lanes and 8-foot shoulders.
