Waleska has announced that after a delay in opening due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the splash pad at Cline Park will be back in business on Monday, June 29.

The splash pad, 704 Bartow St., ordinarily is open from the Memorial Day weekend to after Labor Day, according to Cherokee Recreation & Parks.

When it opens, its hours of operation will be 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 2 to 4:30 p.m., Waleska said in a Facebook posting. Guests will be allowed on a first-come, first-served basis, with a maximum capacity of 30 people. No chairs will be allowed inside the gated area, nor large groups from day care centers and camps.

The pad also will be offered for after-hours party rentals. The cost is $150 for up to 30 guests from 5 to 7 p.m. To make a reservation: www.playcherokee.org
