DeKalb County Sheriff Tom Brown will host his annual “community day” for students Tuesday near Decatur.
The event features bowling match ups between students from the grade school through high school level against various law enforcement officers from the sheriff’s office and DeKalb police as well as representatives from Atlanta and Clarkston police departments and other agencies.
The event also features back-to-school supplies for the youth and free pizza and soda. The event begins at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Suburban Lanes on North Decatur Road.
