Taxpayers and parents in DeKalb County can attend any of three upcoming hearings to learn what’s in store for next year’s school district budget, projected at $728 million.

Only two of the three hearings are scheduled so far with the third date to be announced soon. Both are at 6 p.m., the first Monday and the second on May 8. Both are at school district headquarters, 1701 Mountain Industrial Blvd., Stone Mountain.

The hearings will be televised on PDS-TV24 and streamed on the district website, www.dekalb.k12.ga.us. The district is taking comments by email: budget-feedback@fc.dekalb.k12.ga.us.
