DeKalb schools to feed hungry children

The DeKalb County School District will feed hungry children during summer break at three locations.

The Seamless Summer Feeding Program will feed all DeKalb residents 18 years of age and younger regardless of eligibility status during the regular school year, in this program sponsored by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Meals will be served Mondays through Thursdays from June 2 through Aug. 1, at Bethune Middle School and Tucker and Lithonia High Schools. Breakfast is 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. and lunch is 11:30 a.m. to noon.
