DeKalb school burglarized

DeKalb County is investigating a burglary at Briarlake Elementary School.

School spokesman Dale Davis confirmed that the LaVista Road school was broken into on Tuesday, but could not provide any additional information.

“The case is under investigation and an inventory of the loss is not known at this time according to police,” Davis said in a statement.

Davis said a report would be available on Monday.
