Lane Flynn, chairman of the DeKalb County GOP, will appear as a contestant on "Jeopardy!" Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.

Flynn recorded the episode in December. The business owner lives with his wife, Amy, and their two daughters in north DeKalb County, according to Facebook.

Flynn, who was the Republican nominee for Georgia House District 81 in 2016, will compete against returning champion Jack Prince, of Portland, Oregon, and Emily Perez, of Wappingers Falls, New York.

In January, a 26-year-old Atlanta resident who was on "Jeopardy!" as a one-day returning champion finished in third place.
