The DeKalb County Police Department has requested the public’s assistance in locating Diandre Morris, a person of interest in the murder investigation of 32-year-old Alexander Campbell.

Campbell’s body was found July 17, 2013, by an abandoned warehouse in Scottdale, Ga., police spokesman Capt. Steven Fore said Friday.

Morris was named a person of interest in the murder investigation because detectives think he might have information or a connection to the case, Fore said. He is described as 25 years old, 6 feet, 2 inches tall and 180 pounds. He was last seen with braided, shoulder-length hair.

Investigators have been unsuccessful in locating Morris, who is known to frequent the Memorial Drive/South Indian Creek area in Stone Mountain, Fore said. Morris also has ties in Douglas County, he said.

“Basically it seems like he dropped off the face of the earth,” Fore said.
