A manhunt for a suspect involved in the shooting of two police officers in DeKalb County at Glenwood Road and Austin Drive is slowing traffic in the area.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area while police activity continues. Use Covington Highway as an alternate route, WSB traffic reporter Doug Turnbull suggested.
Several blocks of Glenwood Road, west of I-285, were closed shortly after 10 a.m., causing backups in the area. Austin Drive was also blocked to traffic.
