DeKalb’s Key Road closure begins Oct. 16

Key Road SE, between Boulder Walk Drive SE, and Woodham Way SE, will be closed to through-traffic beginning at 4 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 16 through 7 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 20, due to filming. Residents living in the neighborhood will have access during the closure.
The state considers itself a “camera ready” destination for film and television production. According to data provided by the Georgia Department of Economic Development, Georgia-lensed feature films and television productions generated an economic impact of $6 billion.
Road closure and detour signs will be placed in the area to advise motorists of traffic restrictions.
