After two weeks of early voting, DeKalb County is a leader in the numbers.

By Monday morning, 96,759 people had cast ballots, which represents almost 19 percent of the county’s 519,185 registered voters. That puts DeKalb second among Georgia’s four most populous counties in percentage of voters taking advantage of advanced voting.

"It's a brisk turnout," DeKalb elections director Maxine Daniels said Monday. "We expect to have another 100,000 people this week."
