DeKalb County helps with job placement for film studio project

DeKalb Workforce Development has teamed with the Integral Group on Third Rail Studios project, the proposed state-of-the-art film and television studio complex to occupy a portion of the new ‘Assembly’ site formerly the General Motors Doraville Assembly Plant. County officials say this is the first phase of many jobs to come. For now construction bidding has begun for the trades.

Trades needed: demolition structural steel and steel materials; millwork structural steel erection; roofing, doors, frames, hardware, overhead doors, toilet accessories and partitions; dock equipment; fire extinguishers; drywall and acoustical plumbing; flooring and painting.
