DeKalb County gets slightly bigger

DeKalb County recently grew by 3,400 square feet – the result of a de-annexation from the city of Stone Mountain.

The small parcel on Zachary Drive is part of a larger residential property that was divided years ago as part of railroad land. The County Commission’s vote to de-annex at the owner’s request puts the entire property in unincorporated DeKalb.
