The DeKalb County Board of Commissioners will hold a Committee of the Whole, Special Called Meeting and Executive Session 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Maloof Auditorium located at 1300 Commerce Drive in Decatur.

Agenda items include a report from the sanitation department on programs for residential recycling and glass recycling. Earlier this year DeKalb’s government mentioned plans to install as many as 16 glass recycling sites across the county this spring where residents can deliver their glass.

“The whole purpose of the glass recycling program is for avid glass recyclers to have dedicated drop-off locations,” Pauline Andrea, a DeKalb spokeswoman told the AJC in January.
