National Selfie Day has already passed, but there’s another day designated for selfie lovers.

Brookhaven is inviting residents to City Hall on Aug. 15 and take a selfie for National City Hall Selfie Day. In a press release, city officials said this is a way for residents to engage with city officials and staff.

“This is a fun activity and a good way for residents to show how proud they are to be in Brookhaven,” said Brennan.

The DeKalb city took to Twitter to post about the event.

The national day is sponsored by Engaging Local Government Leaders network. All cities and residents are encouraged to participate. According to its website, the network will have prizes for those who post the most creative photos.
