The makers of Emergency Drinking Beer are offering up some emergency drinking water.

Wild Heaven Craft Beers, a Decatur brewery, is offering free filtered water to anyone who shows up to their location Wednesday. A water main break in Doraville shut off water to much of DeKalb County. Some customers who have water have been instructed to boil it before use.

People in need of water should bring their own container to fill up. The brewery will be offering the water until 6 p.m., according to its Facebook page.

Filtered water is often preferred by brewers because it provides a more predictable, consistent chemical content and balance than tap water. The water will be available at the brewery, located at 135B Maple St. in Decatur.
