A DeKalb County assisted living facility was evacuated late Wednesday morning because of a possible hazardous materials situation.

Firefighters evacuated some of the residents of the Summer's Landing Tilly Mill Senior Living Community in the 4800 block of North Peachtree Road as a precaution due to an unknown chemical exposure, according to Channel 2 Action News.

According to the Summer's Landing website, the facility has 30 units.

Two employees were transported to a hospital after complaints of nausea, Channel 2 said.

Occupants were back in the facility by 3 p.m.
