DeKalb County is asking community groups to help with its Sick of Signs code sweep on Oct. 19.

The event, which runs from 9 a.m. to noon countywide, is designed to remove illegal signs from the roadways. Residents and businesses can pick up supplies to help with the effort between Oct. 14 and 18 at county offices, 330 W. Ponce de Leon Ave., Decatur.
