Deadline approaching for voter registration in DeKalb

DeKalb County residents who want to vote in the May 20 nonpartisan election for sheriff and general primary that day must be registered by April 21.

DeKalb’s Board of Elections is handling registrations while also accepting absentee applications for the election. It began mailing absentee ballots April 4.
