A deceased man was discovered Friday in a parked tractor in Clayton County, police said.
Clayton County police officers and emergency service workers responded to the parking lot of a Sam’s Club in Jonesboro, located at 7325 Jonesboro Road, in reference to an unresponsive man who had been located in the rear of a parked tractor, police said in a statement.
The man had no pulse and was “cold to the touch,” authorities said.
He was pronounced dead and his body was removed and transported to the Georgia Bureau of Investigations crime lab for an autopsy.
“The death appears to be natural and there is no suspected foul play at this time,” officials said.
The name of the male is being withheld pending the notification of his next of kin.
