Dacula began construction in mid-December on a new 3,000-square-foot addition to city hall that will include a conference room, several offices, bathrooms and additional storage. The expansion is part of Dacula’s 2030 Comprehensive Plan adopted in 2008. The $380,000 project is funded by the SPLOST program and is well under the allocated $600,000 designated for the project. The new addition is expected to be complete in mid-May.
