The Mall of Georgia’s annual Fall Festival is celebrating the season with entertainment, crafts and food this weekend.

The festival will be held at the Buford mall on Saturday, Oct. 14 from 3 to 7 p.m. There will be opportunities to do Halloween-themed crafts and shop from local vendors in the mall. There will also be fall-themed snacks (pumpkin spice, anyone?).

Kids can get a taste of Halloween early with the festival’s costume contest. Children will be judged in two age groups: ages 5 to 8 and ages 9 to 12.

There will be a live DJ spinning from 3 to 5 p.m, and local band Shaky Jane will play from 5 to 7 p.m. After the festival ends, the festivities aren’t over. You can watch classic Halloween movie “Hocus Pocus” on the mall’s lawn shortly after 7 p.m.

The festival is free to enjoy and takes place throughout the mall.
