Gwinnett Commissioners on Tuesday, Aug. 4, accepted a $4,764 grant from the Georgia Association of Emergency Medical Services for Pre-hospital Trauma Life Support training. The grant is partially reimbursing the county’s $5,784.54 used for training 256 paramedics and station officers. The grant was originally designated for $4,500, but the GA-EMS was able to increase the amount to assist Gwinnett training efforts.
The course provided additional specialized certification in Pre-hospital Trauma Life Support Training. There are no matching requirements for this grant.
