The Lawrenceville City Council approved two amendments Jan. 5 to change all city board and commission seats from three-year to four-year terms. The revision includes those serving on the Planning Commission, Architectural Review Board and the Board of Appeals.

In addition, the city council voted unanimously to set qualifying fees for the November general election at $288 for the mayor’s office and $216 for city council positions Post 1 and 2, currently held by Tony Powell and Marie Beiser.
