Gwinnett County police are searching for two suspects who walked into a business and stole an employee’s bags from the break room, the department said in a release.

The suspects, a man and a woman, walked into Illing Packing Company through a back door at 11:24 a.m. on April 15. The suspects appeared to be familiar with the business’ layout because they entered through a warehouse door and because of their “demeanors,” a police report says.

The suspects then walked into a break room. The male suspect stood next to a vending machine and the female suspect sat at a table before they grabbed two purses belonging to the same employee, the report says. The suspects left in a four-door SUV with blackout windows and “sporty rims.” The car was captured on surveillance footage, but the license plate number was illegible on video, police said.

The male suspect was described as being between 25 and 35 years old with a medium build, “close haircut,” and facial hair. The female suspect described as being between 25 and 35 years old with a medium build and hair twists.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact Gwinnett County detectives at 770-513-5300 or Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477. Crime Stoppers tips may be rewarded with up to $2,000 if they lead to an arrest or indictment.
