A 33-year-old Norcross man has been arrested and charged with sex trafficking with a child.

Carl Fredrik Skow, of the 500 block of Olde Mill Lane, faces the federal charges after he made arrangements to pay to have an underage girl in his possession for a year, according to federal investigators.

Skow's arrest was the culmination of a nearly two-month investigation by Sandy Springs police, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and the Human Trafficking Unit, which began operating July 1 to combat the crimes of child sex trafficking and human trafficking in Georgia.

It was not immediately clear where Skow was arrested.
