Gwinnett County police are trying to identify a man who stole a package off a Loganville porch.

Gwinnett County police are searching for a man who took a package off a Loganville porch.

The theft was captured on the homeowner’s surveillance camera. The man approached the Potomac Walk Court home on Feb. 22 after noticing the package while walking on the sidewalk, police said.

The man picked up the package and waited until a passing car drove off in order to avoid being noticed, according to police. He then waked back to the sidewalk and continued down the street.

The man wore a black sweatshirt with the hood covering his head, black pants, a black backpack and black shoes. He was described as having a “small amount of facial hair.”

Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact Gwinnett County detectives at 770-513-5300 or Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477. Crime Stoppers tips may be rewarded with up to $2,000 if they lead to an arrest or indictment.
