A Gwinnett County man’s credit card information was used for more than $27,000 in fraudulent charges, a police report says.
The unauthorized payments were first noticed by the victim on Nov. 11, police said Monday. Of the charges, amounting to $27,215, multiple were made at a Dacula Kroger, police said.

The victim told officers he still had his card and did not know how another person had been using it. Police determined the key information, like his card number and security code, were likely used for a “forged credit card,” according to a press release.
Police saw a woman using the card at the Kroger store in surveillance footage from Nov. 5. Police are asking for the public’s help identifying the woman, pictured above.
Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact Gwinnett County detectives at 770-513-5300 or Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477. Crime Stoppers tips may be rewarded with up to $2,000 if they lead to an arrest or indictment.
