Gwinnett Board of Commissioners voted Tuesday to approve a contract for renovations at Lucky Shoals Park on Britt Road in Norcross. The $124,600 contract will replace existing playground equipment, safety surfacing, above and underground drainage.

Miracle Recreation Equipment Co. won the bid after one bidder was deemed non-responsive because a bid bond did not accompany the bid. Another bidder withdrew after not taking the entire project into consideration when pricing.

The contract is funded by the 2009 SPLOST program.
