Motorists traveling near the City Springs construction project on Johnson Ferry Road and Sandy Springs Circle will need to plan for lane closures and additional travel time next month.
Starting Feb. 1, the northernmost lane of Johnson Ferry Road from Ferry Drive to just before Sandy Springs Circle will shut down 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays. Flagmen will direct drivers through the closure, which is expected to be in effect all month.
Feb. 15, one lane on Sandy Springs Circle from Mt. Vernon to Johnson Ferry roads will close. The closure will shift as crews work north to south along the circle.
Message boards will be in place.
