Rob and Sharon Egan sent this photo taken at the Peninsula Park & Rose Garden in Portland, Oregon.Over Memorial Day weekend there visited their son, Garrett, who lives in Vancouver, Washington. “Through the roses, you can see part of the Portland skyline and Mt. Hood, ” they wrote. The rose garden has over 600 varieties of roses with over 10,000 rose plantings in this 4.5 acre garden. The garden was established in 1917. The Pacific Northwest is a beautiful area with beach and rivers and forests.
