Nancy Payne shared this photo taken in Torres del Paine, Patagonia in Chile. She said she was there last October with her husband. “Chile was one of the most interesting and beautiful places we have visited,” she wrote. According to the national park’s website, Torres del Paine National Park is known for its soaring mountains, bright blue icebergs that cleave from glaciers and golden pampas (grasslands) that shelter rare wildlife such as llama-like guanacos. Some of its most iconic sites are the three granite towers from which the park takes its name and the horn-shaped peaks called Cuernos del Paine.
