South DeKalb Improvement Association Inc., a nonprofit organization working to improve South DeKalb County, invites the public to its 4th quarter meeting 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Dec. 6 at Berean Community Center, 2440 Young Road.
The agenda includes: updates on 2014 projects; an education forum on the pros and cons of charter schools; a presentation by Gil Turman of Blueprint DeKalb; board elections; recognitions and awards, etc.
Attendees are asked to bring canned goods for donating to Hosea Feed the Hungry.
