Commissioners meet with consultant over Briscoe Field
The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners will meet with a consultant Tuesday as it continues to wrestle with the fate of Briscoe Field.
Gwinnett is considering whether to sell or lease the airport, and commissioners are divided on the issue. They will meet with consultant Infrastructure Management Group Inc., which the county has hired to help them decide how to proceed.
The meeting will be at the commission conference room at the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center, 75 Langley Drive, Lawrenceville. The public meeting will follow the commission’s 10 a.m. work session.
