College Park to clarify yard waste procedures

The Department of Public Works has begun an assertive community outreach effort to clarify policies regarding yard waste collection. Arrangements are being made to produce a flyer that offers directions for proper disposal of grass clippings, tree trimming and other items for weekly and bi-weekly collection.

The Sanitation Division of College Park Public Works will insert flyers with updated information into monthly utility bills, and will create updated messages to be broadcast on College Park TV-23 to ensure proper notification to citizens.
