A 26-year-old Cobb County woman died Tuesday when the truck she was in crashed into a guardrail in Alabama, authorities said.
The 2004 Toyota Tundra was being driven by a 58-year-old Marietta man north on I-65 about 1:05 p.m. when it crashed, said Lt. Joe Piggott of the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
Police said they do not know why the truck left the stretch of road, which was in southwest Alabama.

Maire Caitlin Olsen was thrown from the pickup, Piggott said. The woman had not been wearing a seatbelt.
No charges have been filed in the crash but police continue to investigate, he said.
